November 4 – Brad Adams, President, Southwest Transplant Alliance

Our guest for the November 4th edition of PlayMakers Talk Show: Brad Adams, President, Southwest Transplant Alliance

Brad Adams, President, Southwest Transplant Alliance

As an advocate for organ donors and their loved ones, Brad Adams protects the gifts of the most selfless people in the world and removes barriers to their ability to leave a life-saving gift. A strategic and decisive leader, Brad sees the work of the entire donation community as wholly dependent on the public’s trust, and he works tirelessly to earn, keep, and protect it.

Southwest Transplant Alliance (STA) is a nonprofit organization based in Dallas, Texas, that saves lives by fulfilling the gifts of organ and tissue donation. Founded in 1974, STA is one of the largest federally designated, nonprofit organ procurement organizations (OPOs) in the country. Since its founding, STA has recovered more than 35,000 organs and saved or enhanced the lives of more than 100,000 people.

Brad joined Southwest Transplant Alliance in 2015, and today serves as its President. Brad regularly champions efforts to provide for a reliable and effective donation framework at both the state and national levels. He helps drive healthcare policies and decisions that ensure the donation and transplantation system in the U.S. is fair, accessible, transparent, and accountable, and he collaborates with healthcare leaders and law enforcement officials throughout Texas to align donation with other public priorities.

Tripp Westbrook, President & Chief Creative Officer, Firehouse

Tripp Westbrook is challenging the conventional way of doing business as President and Chief Creative Officer at Firehouse, a Dallas-based advertising agency celebrating 25 years this year.

Firehouse recognizes the unwritten rules of advertising and identifies which rules to keep and which ones to break. Under Tripp’s leadership, Firehouse was named one of the Best Places to Work in 2022 by Ad Age. Firehouse was the only Texas-based agency to rank in the 200 employees or less category.

Prior to joining Firehouse, Tripp produced one of USA Today’s Top 100 Super Bowl Commercials of all time. With clients like Lennox, Trupanion, Stryker and Mary Kay, Tripp continues to make waves and leave lasting impressions when it comes to shaking up the world of advertising.
