Dennis Cagan is a noted high-technology industry director, executive, and entrepreneur. He has founded or co-founded over a dozen different companies, and has been a CEO of both public and private companies, consultant, venture capitalist, private investor, and professional board member on almost 50 company boards. In 2013 the Dallas Business Journal and NACD selected him as one of 12 Outstanding Directors in North Texas.
Dennis is a recognized authority in information technology, including: mobile applications, Internet, software, hardware, systems, and communications, in the disciplines of governance, strategy, distribution channels, marketing, services, and logistics.
Today, Dennis is primarily engaged in management consulting through his personal firm Caganco Incorporated which specializes in two areas: working with private company ownership and leadership to develop and manage world-class governance through boards, and providing his trademarked Shadow CEOTM services comprised of an intense side-by-side approach to helping C-level executives go beyond their current experience set.
In 2006 Dennis moved his family to Dallas from Santa Barbara, CA and currently serves on three corporate boards of directors: AcornTech.com, MyTrustOn.com, and CopperMobile.com.
Jack Black Men’s Skin Care line was launched in January of 2000 at the PGA golf show in Orlando. In the first year in business, golf represented 95% of their revenues, but by the end of 2012 that percentage was less than 2%.
Today the product is available in stores like Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Sephora and Bloomingdale’s across the nation. Jeff Dandurand is one of the three co-founders of the company.
Jeff started his career in sales as a bank recruiter in the mid 80’s, moved into upper level management positions in the early and mid-90’s and left recruiting to start Jack Black with his two partners in 1999.
He runs sales for the gift, specialty, spa, online, catalog and golf channels of distribution. Jack Black has over 50 independent reps that sell their line and Jack Black is the #2 selling brand for men in the prestige category.
