Patti Niles joined Southwest Transplant Alliance in January 2013 and is credited with turning the organization into one of the most successful organ recovery organizations in the country.
Southwest Transplant Alliance (STA) is a non-profit organ procurement organization (OPO). For more than 40 years, STA has been saving lives by recovering donated organs for transplantation.
During her tenure at STA, the organization has seen a dramatic increase in the number of organs recovered for transplantation. In 2015, STA was able to recover 1,123 organs for transplantation, a record for STA and an accomplishment achieved by only a handful of organ procurement organizations.
