As the Executive Director of the nationally recognized Dallas Children’s Theater (DCT), Samantha Turner is a passionate advocate for introducing young minds to live theater and the arts. Whether they are gaining empathy from watching a character from the audience to bolstering self-esteem and confidence while performing on stage, involvement in the arts at a young age can be deeply impactful.
In June 2023, Samantha was named Executive Director of Dallas Children’s Theater after serving as Executive Director for Ballet Arizona for six years.
DCT is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and Samantha is leading the organization into a sustainable future as it enters its next four decades. DCT also just announced its exciting and engaging line-up of shows for the 2024-2025 season, which includes Grace for President, A Charlie Brown Christmas and James and the Giant Peach!
Dallas Children’s Theater features professional actors performing for an annual audience of 150,000 young people and their families through main-stage productions and an arts-in-education program
