Crawford Brock, President & CEO, Stanley Korshak

Crawford Brock, owner of the Dallas luxury retail store, Stanley Korshak at the Crescent complex, began his retail-management career with Neiman Marcus. After 11 years with Neiman’s, he was asked by Stanley Korshak owner Caroline Rose Hunt in 1987 to run the store, which he went on to purchase in 2002.

Hired directly out of college by Neiman Marcus, Crawford went through the Neiman Marcus Executive Development Program leading into management and buying positions where he learned the art of merchandise selection and customer service from Stanley Marcus.  

After 12 years with Neiman Marcus, Crawford left to run Stanley Korshak. 15 years after he was asked by Caroline Rose Hunt to oversee operations, he purchased the store and has served as President/CEO for 35 years.

Lorie Welch, CEO, Woodwright

Lorie Welch has been a part of Woodwright since 1998 but, became the CEO upon
the death of their founder and her husband, Steve Welch. In business since 1985,
Woodwright, a Certified WBE (Women Business Enterprise), provides exceptional
opportunities for wood floors, walls, ceilings and stairs for their clients.

Woodwright works closely with Architecture and Interior Design firms across the
country from initial design concept through final installation. They pride
themselves on delivering a quality product in a timely and professional manner.
Most of the unusual hardwood products they provide are produced in their state
of the art facility using skilled craftsmen to deliver the exacting quality expected
by their customers.

A native of Kentucky, Lorie holds a degree in interior design from Murray State
University. Lorie serves on the board of the Subcontractors Association of
the Metroplex (SAM) and is an active member of the Association of
Professional Women in Construction (APWC), TEXO, and WBENC.
