Healthcare executive Cory Countryman is the Chief Executive Officer of the newly opened Walnut Hill Medical Center in Dallas.

Cory began his career as a Registration Clerk at Zale Lipshy University Hospital in Dallas after a tour in the US Navy. Over the next two decades Cory worked in various healthcare management positions progressing into roles as Chief Executive Officer at Cleveland Regional Medical Center and Weatherford Regional Medical Center.

Gayle Nave, Executive Director & Luis Veras, Board Chair, Mi Esculita
Galyle Nave joined Mi Escuelita as Director of Administration in 1999 and was promoted to the position of Executive Director in 2006. Luis Veras serves as Board Chair for Mi Escuelita and is a Pizza Hut Franchisee operating stores in the North Dallas area.
Mi Escuelita Preschool is a Dallas non-profit that provides a unique service to low-income families with children considered to be “at-risk.”
Mi Escuelita began providing early childhood education to low income at-risk children in 1978 serving children ages 2½ to 5 years. Today Mi Escuelita has 560 children in 26 classrooms at six locations throughout Dallas.
