Shelly “Sheldon” Stein is President and CEO of Glazer’s, a third generation, family-owned alcohol distributor and one of the largest privately held companies in the U.S., with sales of $4 billion. Glazer’s operates in 15 states, primarily in the Midwest and Southwest, as well as Canada and the U.S Virgin Islands, with 40+ branches, close to 7,000 employees and 900 beverage suppliers.
Prior to joining Glazer’s in 2010, Shelly was a Vice Chairman of Global Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and was Senior Managing Director at Bear, Stearns & Co. for over 20 years. Prior to Bear Stearns, Shelly served as a partner in the Dallas law firm of Hughes & Luce.
Glazer’s distributes to a diverse customer base of over 80,000 customers, both on-premise (restaurants, hotels and bars) and off-premise (package stores, convenience stores and other retailers).
